What we've done

Mendoza Elementary School PTO helps raise much-needed funding for programs and school improvements that are not routinely funded by the school district. We also provide volunteers to help enrich the classroom experience. Historically, the PTO has used funds to construct shade structures and install equipment on our playgrounds, purchase accelerated reading materials for all grade levels, fund educational classroom tools, purchase SMARTboards and tablets and much more.

During the 2022-2023 school year, PTO funded many school activities, provided teacher appreciation, funded the ESGI grant, designed the yearbook, purchased moveable whiteboards and sweeper vacuum, purchased and installed decorations for the front of the school, and created a Principal's Bookshelf for student birthdays.
